Born and raised in the Lowcountry, Dr. Marscher is excited about building a practice focused on helping the pets and people who live in the communities where he grew up.
After finishing his undergraduate degree at Clemson, he moved to Charleston to complete his MBA at the Citadel before going on to receive his DVM at the University of Georgia's College of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Marscher then completed a post graduate training program at Angell Animal Medical Center in Boston, and continued practicing in New England until returning to Charleston. Since moving back, he has practiced emergency medicine in the Charleston community and has continued to develop his skills and acumen in the field. Dr. Marscher enjoys communicating with owners to design tailored plans for pets that make sense for both the pet and their family. His focus on client education helps ensure you understand what is happening and why it is happening. At PawMed, we think communication is the most important part of getting your pets the care they need, when they need it.
